The 29 MADEIRA HOSTEL is equipped with a pleasant communal living room. It has an equipped communal kitchen, where guests can cook lights meals. 

 

Reception

Our team is available to help, providing all kind of information and support you need to make your experience on Madeira island unique. The reception is open from 08.00am to 10.00pm. There is a night emergency service, contactable by phone and the police number of Public Security, existing in the building emergency plan. In addition, there is a night surveillance service.

Housekeeping

From 12.30 to 2.30pm and from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

Bed linen and bath towels are free.

We also have a face towel for use during your stay, but they have an extra cost of €3.

HOW TO GET THERE

 

AIRPORT: personal transfers Service: You can simply book your personal transfers service before traveling. Or you can order this service to the hostel with the cost of rent a car. Airport Transfers to Hotels located in Funchal at prices from € 25 (1-3 passengers each way).
 
TAXI: there is always a friendly taxi driver at your disposal, happy to take you to where you want to go. The taxi rank is located near the 'arrivals'. Look for a yellow car with blue stripes and in some cases a sign on top saying 'taxi'. The trip between the airport and Funchal reaches values from 25 euros. The hostel has an agreement with a taxi company which takes approximately 20m at the price of 25 € for 4 passengers and € 30 for more than 4 passengers. If you want please contact the hostel in time.

BUS: The company that provides transport from the airport is SAM. After leaving the 'arrivals', walk to the right on the main road. '. The ticket to Funchal costs 2 euros and buses to catch are the 20, the 53, the 78, 113 and 156, depending on the time of day. Regular service (hours): http://www.sam.pt/servi%C3%A7o-regular-331.aspx.

 RENTAL CAR: There are several rent-a-car in the 'arrivals'. Look for the best offer! If you do not want to risk not having car available when you arrive, be sure to make your reservations in advance. This ensures the booking the best price, not run risks none.
